Our clients were married in their beloved barn over thirty years ago so demolishing the structure was not an option. We navigated how to create a modern, energy-efficient, garage barn that included an in-law apartment and plenty of space for their toys. The result? An enlarged barn with original details that nod to yesteryear and sustainable products that are planet-friendly.
This multiple award-winning project also features a two bedroom apartment with lofted storage, a streamlined bathroom, and exposed timber frame beams, plus a greenhouse, shed storage, and charging stations for the clients’ two EVs.
