HOME OFFICE REMODELING IN CONCORD, MA
Designed in collaboration with Lewis Interiors, this third floor home office addition in Concord was a welcome departure from the low ceilings that characterize the lower levels of this antique home. The soaring ceilings give the space an openness that sets it apart from the rest of the house, and the design makes full use of that vertical volume.
The finished office features menswear inspired wallpaper above high-gloss paint, a combination that gives the room a sophisticated, considered character that suits both the executive who uses it and the antique home it sits within. The room has genuine space to spread out, which matters in a workspace where focused, high-level work happens daily. Timing worked in the homeowner's favor: the office was completed just before the shift to remote work began, and the transition was seamless as a result.

Filing drawers handle the practical storage demands of a busy executive, while dedicated display space gives treasured items, including the client's original Hardy Boys series, a proper home within the office.
