This award-winning space was designed with Vivian Robins of Vivian Robins Design and features moody finishes, tons of custom Platt Cabinetry, and multiple zones for this family’s love of games, movies, crafting, and entertaining. A wet bar with drawer dishwasher and integrated drink refrigerator is highlighted by a colorful glass tile wall and glass shelves. The game table raises and lowers for whatever game is being played and we made use of the angled wall by adding bench seating for onlooking fans! Custom cabinetry displays games and beloved Lego models with more storage behind closed cabinetry. Beautiful millwork wraps the columns and knee walls that help define the spaces.
Our clients’ high end A/V equipment is accessed two ways: first through a wallpapered push-to-open panel and then through the jib door we built in the arcade area.
Each member of the family chose their favorite color which Robins incorporated into the craft area: each space is designated by color. Platt Cabinetry was designed with cut-out cabinet pulls that were custom painted as detailed.
This large (1500sf) space also features a bathroom and kid’s play zone. No detail was left undone in this amazing space!
