White, Grey & Marble

KITCHEN REMODELING IN SUDBURY, MA

Designed in collaboration with KT2 Design Group, this Sudbury kitchen renovation started with a structural decision that made everything else possible. An exterior wall was bumped out to accommodate a straight run of cabinetry and a larger refrigerator, giving the layout the footprint it needed before any of the finish work began. It was the kind of call that has to be made early and executed carefully, and it set the stage for everything that followed.

Platt Cabinetry, our in-house millwork team, built custom cabinetry throughout, finished with layers of molding and millwork that give the kitchen a depth and craftsmanship that goes well beyond standard cabinetry. The storage was designed around how the kitchen actually gets used day to day rather than around what fits most easily into a standard layout. A wine fridge and a pot filler mounted over the stove round out the functionality, giving a serious home cook everything they need without having to work around the limitations of a conventional kitchen.

The name says it all. White, grey, and marble run consistently through the cabinetry, countertops, and finishes, giving the kitchen a clean, timeless palette that lets the millwork and material quality take center stage.

Homeowners in Sudbury and across the MetroWest area who cook seriously tend to know exactly where a standard kitchen layout falls short. The value of starting with the structural decisions, getting the footprint right before anything else, is that the finish work has something solid to build on. That is where this project began and where the results show up most clearly.

Platt Builders works with homeowners throughout Sudbury and surrounding MetroWest communities including Wayland, Concord, Marlborough, and Framingham on custom kitchen remodeling projects. If you're ready to rework your kitchen, let's talk.
