SOPHISTICATED SPA
BATHROOM REMODELING IN SUDBURY, MA
Designed in collaboration with KT2 Design Group, this Sudbury bathroom is a good example of what thoughtful space planning can accomplish. The original bathroom was large, dark, and poorly laid out. The renovated version is actually smaller, and it functions significantly better for it.
A freestanding soaking tub anchors the space, and an updated window brings in the natural light the original room was missing. The shower is finished in zellige tile, which brings texture, depth, and a handcrafted quality that carries the spa feeling through the room. A custom double vanity crafted by Platt Cabinetry gives the room its grounding element, built with the same precision and material quality that runs through the rest of the design. A wall of mirrors with integrated lighting completes the vanity area, adding brightness and a polished finish that ties everything together.
KT2 Design Group has worked with Platt Builders on several projects across the Sudbury area, and the familiarity shows. The design process on a bathroom this considered requires a working relationship where material selections, spatial decisions, and construction realities are being worked through together from the beginning rather than handed off at different stages. That kind of collaboration is hard to replicate on a first project and compounds over time.
Homeowners throughout Sudbury and the broader MetroWest area often come to us with bathrooms that are generous in square footage but fall short in how that space is actually used. More room does not always mean a better bathroom. Sometimes it means a better-planned one.
Platt Builders works with homeowners throughout Sudbury and surrounding MetroWest communities including Wayland, Concord, Marlborough, and Framingham on custom bathroom remodeling projects. If your bathroom has good bones but poor planning, we'd love to chat.
